Comic Book Mix Media Art

My hubby had this huge stash of comic books, for the last two years they were just sitting in our attic. When we moved we suddenly didn't have a spot for them. My hubby decided to sell the ones he could and gave me the rest to play with. After creating my newspaper art, which you can see it here, I decided I wanted to do something like that with his comic books, but this time I wanted to use paints too. As you can see by the results, they turned out awesome! I ended up making a Batman one, a Superman one, a Spider-man one, a Captain America one, and a Green Lantern one. I'm actually in the progress of making some more right now. I can't seem to get enough of these. My hubby really wanted to just keep them to himself.

Due to making these I decided it was time for me to finally reopen and try out my Etsy store again and reach one of my goals, I set for myself this year. I'm happy to say I have made my very first sale ever on Etsy! I ended up selling both the Superman and the Captain America art pieces.
